The Raeburn Supper Club is a modern introduction agency specialising in dinners and events for single people of all ages.  Although not a dating agency in the traditional sense, The Raeburn Supper Club offers its members the opportunity to try lots of new activities and make new unattached friends.

With over 350 members, the majority of whom have been introduced through word of mouth recommendation, enjoying regular arranged monthly dinners as well as the new and popular walking programme which has been introduced and every 3-4 months large parties are held in place of monthly dinners.

Common Wheel Project   bicycle donations needed  for re-habilitation and re-sale by mental health charity
Common Wheel exists to provide meaningful activity for people with mental illness by recycling and repairing old bicycles.

World Pipe Band Championships 2010 - Saturday 14 August 2010 - Glasgow Green
The World Pipe Band Championships is the major event in the piping world and the competition culminates in a spectacular March Past of all competitors.  Typically, over 5,000 musicians (230 bands) take part from all over the world, including Canada, USA, Australia, Oman and Tokyo.

Great Scottish Run 2010 - Saturday 4 and Sunday 5eptember  2010
Each year Glasgow plays host to one of the largest participative events in Scotland - runners can choose between the half marathon, 10k or Junior 3K. The race takes runners past some of the city's most famous attractions and will again feature the hugely popular run over the Kingston Bridge, before finishing in Glasgow Green.
